Hamilton County Indiana - Market Update

What is the real estate market doing in Hamilton County in the midst of a global pandemic? 

Hamilton County, IN

  Last week when schools and offices were being closed and people began working from home, the housing market in Hamilton County saw many new listings hit the market and receive immediate offers.  It looks like the virus was not scaring buyers and sellers away from real estate transactions with the entire county averaging 200 showings per day and only 15 homes being taken off the market*. It will be curious to see what happens this week as more people are self quarantining and staying home.

   Between Sunday, March 15 - Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Hamilton County, IN 159 new listings hit the real estate market. Out of those newly listed last week, 31% of those homes have already received accepted offers. 144 homes all together pended last week and currently there are 862 homes for sale. ​
